The Nominating Committee would like all potential officer candidates for 2024 to submit the application form to Courtney McLees, by August 1, 2024. You may want to first review the Competency Model to become familiar with the concepts and the skill sets desired of leadership in AHA.

Second, you’ll want to review the Executive Committee Job Description document as it contains information that will help you understand the commitment and expectations of the leadership offices of the AHA. Upon submission of the profile, the Nominating Committee will review the forms and take appropriate action that is consistent with an equitable presentation of eligible candidates. A decision on whether to have a candidates’ forum will be predicated on the number of new candidates submitting applications.
